The rich gold shades in Gustav Klimt’s paintings aided Nicole Farhi in conceptualizing her designs this season. The texture of the dresses on Farhi’s runway and in the painter’s 1907 piece “Adele Bloch-Bauer” bring the metallic tones to another level.
