Mach will be showing the latest of his popular large-scale portrait
icons. Intricate and dazzling, they are created using hundreds of cards
- postcards, tarot, I-Ching or playing cards - setting up a dramatic
tension between the image on each card and the completed work, or ‘the
icon within the icon’.
